The winner for that challenge is...................................................................no.153...Karen

Congrats Karen. Can you email me your address please.

So onto our new challenge. We know loads of your love your Distress Inks and many of you have bought them from us from the craft shows.

So we want to see cards/projects made with these wonderful inks.

Whilst on this subject if you need more of them Hotshot Crafts have them in stock as well as the latest limited edition colours AND the Distress Markers ( Sets and Individual pens)

The candy on offer is a set of Flexmarkers. There are 4 sets available and the winner can choose which set they want. They work along with your existing Promarkers and are great to work with.

Here is a bit of inspiration for you.

How to:Flower card made with X Cut dies

This is a very quick and easy flower card.

  • Cut out several sizes and layers of your chosen material  ( I used Baking Parchment!) with X Cut flower die
  • stamp over each layer. I lightly stamped with Papermania Urban stamps ( music)
  • layer up the flower. Make a hole in the middle of all the layers and attach a brad to hold layers together
  • Brush over ends of petals with Distress inks with tool applicator
  • Emboss a piece of card ( cut to fit card blank) and emboss through an embossing folder. Distress ink it
  • Cut leaves from your chosen die , colour it with distress inks and stamp over ( music )
And that is how easy it is

We hope you will have a go. Email us with your card and we will put it on the blog
