Challenge 12 - Bling it on

It is time for another challenge here at Hotshot Craft. Now the nights are getting darker there is no excuse for stopping in and crafting!

Card made with Pan Pastels

We have all the colours of Pan Pastels in the shop  and they are at the special price of £4.98 with FREE posting.

I have made this card with 2 shades of Pan Pastel. I stamped the main rose then masked it and overstamped another 2 roses. I coloured the background with with the Pan pastels. I used a rubber to remove any Pan Pastel that had gone over the roses leaving them white.Finally i added some stickles to the roses.

So we hope you will try them out.

We have a new challenge today at HSC.

We want to see you using Pan Pastels on your projects. We have all the colours in the shop as well as the tools and accessories to go with them. Pan Pastels are a great product. You can colour backgrounds very quickly, colour images, colour your ribbon, lace etc. They blend together beautifully and they will last you ages!!!!!! Beware .... you will get addicted to them!

The blog candy on offer is your choice of any two colours of Pan Pastels.

So here is a bit of inspiration for you. I have made cards and used the Pan Pastels on canvases. We have canvases of all different sizes and depth in the shop.

 

Here I have used an 8 x 8 scrapbook/artists pad available in the shop.

 

Used on card making.

 

 

The above 2 cards were embossed with embossing folders the coloured with Pan Pastels.

Now nearly everyone loves Kanban. They have a great selection of cardstock, papers and stamps. So look in your stash and get out your Kanban. Do check out the Kanban products we have in the shop too.

What can you do with a chipboard book?

We have in stock various designs of chipboard books with book rings.
You might think that all you can do is ...make a book. But why not make a wall hanging?

 Here is one i made using just 3 of the pages of one of the books. (you get 4 pages with this book)

 I have used Mod Podge to adhere the Strictly Party papers to the chip board. I have then Used Mod Podge over all the paper to give it a sheen and seal it.

 The letters were die cut, embossed and then coloured with Pan Pastels, my new best friends!

 Flowers and leaves were die cut from various card and Pan Pastels used to colour them.

 The shimmer on the letters was created by brushing the Shimmer Mod Podge over it. In the Mod Podge starter pack you get 5 bottles- Sparkle, Original Gloss, Original Matte, Outdoor, and Paper Matte.

 The ribbon at the top here was cream originally and i coloured it with Pan Pastels.
